He ensures that accurate re-order levels, minimum and maximum stock levels are set
Monitors regularly and review slow moving/idle stock items and prepare necessary reports for management action

Ensure periodic fixed asset verification exercise is implemented
Carry out day to day inputs of receipts and issues using duly approved source documents
Set up the proper arrangement of spares in the spare parts store
