Adexen is looking for an Account Receivable Analyst for a large Shipping Company.

Account Receivable Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION

· Account receivable analyst will be responsible for managing cash flow activities for the organization and managing the internal control assessment activity for the finance department by working collaborating with the various operational departments especially the commercial team.
· He will report to the Credit Control Manager.
The position is based in Lagos

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Ensure sound financial decisions are made regarding the release / holding of customers orders based upon financial condition of account.
· Work with necessary department to analyze bad debt reserve requirement s and recommend monthly accruals
· Resolve complex collection issues, establish and develop collection relationship processes while monitoring company’s performance and cost effectiveness.
· Monitor cash receipt application to evaluate and reverse the effectiveness of current cash applications procedure.
· Identify and correct operational barriers that hinder successful performance by developing creative solution. Communicate with sales and finance regarding material charges in status of key customers financial position
· Collaborate with internal and external customers to drive improvement in cash application collections and credits processing.
· Establish work load and manage resources
· Development ,implement and maintain corporate credit and collection policies
· Perform collection follow up on potential credit risk accounts with significant past due date.
· Experience in preparation of accounting reports for management and day to days control
· Coordinate collection action with outside agencies and Legal counsel

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

· University degree in Accounting , Statistics, Engineering , Mathematics from a recognized University
· Good knowledge of MS Office
· Team Work Spirit
· Good communication skills
· Professional and ethical

DUTIES SHALL INCLUDE:
Maintaining existing and new programming / systems performance and direct corrective actions;
Advising on the feasibility and desirability of using computers and compiling, controlling system designs and determining interface between jobs presenting reports on projects and plans

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
Prospective candidates must possess a Degree in Computer Science or Statistics with a post-graduate Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized University plus at least twelve years post-qualification cognate experience

2. DENTAL OFFICER, GL12

DUTIES SHALL INCLUDE:
Carrying out minor oral surgery including extraction of erupted and impacted teeth and corrective mal-position of teeth by orthodontic procedure

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
Prospective candidates must possess a Degree in Dental Surgery from a recognized intuition registrable with Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) plus at least one year post-qualification cognate experience

3. HIGHER RADIOGRAPHER, GL08

DUTIES SHALL INCLUDE:
Checking and sorting X-ray Firm or Radiographs and development and filling radiographic examination for record purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
Prospective candidates must possess the Diploma of Society of Radiographers or Certificate of Membership of Radiographers or other equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution plus at least three years post-qualification cognate experience.

POSITIONS:
A. LICENSED AIRCRAFT ENGINEERS
B. PILOTS

QUALIFICATIONS FOR LICENSED AIRCRAFT ENGINEERS:
Candidates should be holders of NCCA License (H) or ICAO Type 2, Type rated on at least ONE of the following Aircraft:-
1. S92
2. S76 series
3. AS 332L/L2/EC225
4. BELL 407
5. BELL 206 L series OR Avionics; OR FAAA & P (or equivalent) with OEM Training Certificates and documented evidence of experience on the above types.
6. BELL 412 series
7. Type Ratings/experience on EC135, AS 365 and AW 139 will also be considered


QUALIFICATIONS FOR PILOTS:-
Candidates should ideally have any of the following types on their license:
1. S76 C series
2. BELL 412 series
3. AS332l/L2/EC225

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:-
1. Must be Commanders / Captains
2. 2500 Hours Total Time
3. 1000 Hours combined PLC and P1 U/S
4. ATP and Instrument Rating required

Applicants for all positions must possess five (5) credits in SSCE/WASSCE including English Language and Mathematics at a sitting or six (6) credits at not more than two (2) sittings.

Computer literacy would be required for all positions.

3. AGE:
Applicants for all positions must be above 35 years
